The Coolest Piece Of Clothing For Guys.

Vests. Not Christmas sweater vests. Suit vests. It totally awesome. From the looks of what people wear in church, I think they’ll be coming back in style soon. :D Just like what I told Kenn today, “Nothing that awesome will stay out of style for long.” One of my favorite movie is The Greatest Game Ever Played. Men should dress like they did back then. They had some pretty cool hats too. Got to go to JC Penny’s and buy my dad a vest and the hat. I think I saw the hats in the same area as the vests. They should call the section, “Cool clothes for guys section.”

The Cutest Elmo

The T.V was on while I was making my brothers birthday present, which is today. Happy birthday, Quinan!

Anyway, PBS kids was on. It just happened to be that the Elmo’s World topic was on wild animals. And they imagined Elmo as a panda bear. Instead of black markings, they were red, since Elmo is red. The. Cutest. Elmo. Ever. It was so cute! I wish I could’ve taken a picture of him.

Why Being A Bishop And At A Ward Park Activity Is Dangerous

We were at a ward activity at the park and the young men decided that they should Gatorade the bishop. Their strategy: have one boy keep the bishop somewhere while the other does a surprise attack.

Because writers do not write writing, they write reading… Nobody, nobody, nobody, writes anything fine without having to rewrite it. I rewrite my books sixty or so times before they are done… Remember, writers invent real worlds, then populate those worlds with real readers.

Sesame Street Quiz

I took this quiz awhile ago. I took today. I got two results, but I think I sound like both of them. (coincidence they’re the same color!)

Grover:
Despite any outward appearance, you believe in standing up for the little guy and is always around to lend a hand. You can be excitable and compulsive, but also very caring. What you want more than anything else is to be loved by others.

I can be excitable and compulsive. Just ask my mom. She knows.
The last line is true too.

Cookie Monster:
You can tend to get overexcited over the smallest things, but that’s not always a bad thing. You like to live life at a frenzied pace and always have a voracious appetite for trying new things, especially if that new if that thing is edible.

The new things, I’m not so sure. If that edible new thing was a chocolate covered grasshopper, I would suddenly lose my “voracious appetite.” Literally.

Quinan would be…
Oscar:
You generally are happier being on your own. When you do hang out with friends, they are always trying to cheer you up and get you to have a good time. You might have a tough outer shell, but once people get beyond that, you can surprise them with how heartwarming you can be.

Ken is Cookie Monster.

Gabby's Photos

Gabby is about 8/7 months old now, and we haven’t put up any pictures of her. So here’s some now.

Gabby with a paper hat that Dad made.

Baby Gabby, only a few days old.

This shows how small she was, but now she is a LOT bigger.

This was how Gabby got her food for the first couple of weeks, a bottle. Trivia: Apparently, cats can’t drink cow milk or else they get sick. Funny that T.V. always puts cats drinking cow milk.

Lime Beans

Quinan was cutting up a lime, though my mom had already cut one for him. I asked why he was cutting up another one, and he told me he was looking for a seed because he threw his other one away. I didn’t know he was even growing a lime. He was growing a bean from school, but not a lime. Then, my mom figured out he meant he threw out his lima beans, which he thought grew from limes. Weird how I never noticed the word similarity. Then again, I don’t notice a lot of things.

Lots and Lots of.... Books

We are going through our collection of books and only keeping the books that we will read again. We haven’t gone through all of them yet, but so far we have about 8 1/2 shelves of books we are going to read, and about 6 boxes of books we aren’t going to read. We have 6 more boxes of books to go through and 6 or 5 empty shelves…
