I decided I need to blog more often. I only seem to blog when funny or exciting things happen to me. So even if it’s boring to me, I’ll blog it. It might be funny to someone out there. First of all, is NaNoWriMo. I got a comment saying they wanted to read parts of my story. Well, here is a part that shows a little bit of what it is about.
Nicolas and I were the children of King Conner and Queen Audrey. We lived in the country of Jesico. It was tradition that when the king turned 65 years old, the prince became king. Then, the new king had to go into battle if a war was going on. King Connor’s 65th birthday was in a few days, and Nicolas was to go into battle as we were in war with the country Mehia. But everyone was sure he wouldn’t make it alive. Nicolas had a serious medical condition where if he was cut, the bleeding wouldn’t stop. His blood wouldn’t clot and stop the bleeding. There was no remedy for this illness. If he was cut in battle, he would more than likely bleed to death. Nicolas was my dear brother, I had looked up to him my whole life, he was my best friend, and he was the one I always turned to. If he died, I wouldn’t know what I would do. I would become queen, and I didn’t know how to run a country. I would probably lead the country into defeat, and we would have to surrender to the terrible, wicked Mehia. I would become a disgrace to our wonderful country that had been powerful ever since it was first started, which was more than a million year ago.Well, that’s all the time I have right now. Bye.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This past weekend, I worked my heart, soul, mind and fingers out until I finished my story. And guess what? I did it!!!!!!!! I finished writing 10,000 words (in general words, a novel) in one month. Yes folks, one month. I thought it wouldn’t be impossible, but I guess not. But now I kinda sad it’s over ‘til next November. My parents won’t be letting me stay up late on the weekends to write until April, which is NaNoWriMo’s Script Frenzy Month, where I’ll be writing a play in one month. I think everyone (yes, all of you readers who claim that “you can’t write”) should try to do NaNoWriMo next year. It’s a good lesson on never giving up… Plus you get to amaze everyone that you wrote a novel in a month. :) Well, salutations! :)

Ahhhh!!!
Nanowrimo is over in almost 9 days and I’m only at 5468 words! I don’t know how I’m going to finish in time! I’ve been SO busy this past week with Drama Club I forgot all about NaNoWriMo! I guess now all I have to do is write. Write. WRITE!
NaNoWriMo
It’s November, and boy is it going to be busy! My dad found this cool website for writers, and told Ken and me about it. It’s NaNoWriMo. That stands for:

NOvel
WRIting
MOnth
This is where writers will write an entire novel in the month of November. You start a story from scratch. No excerpts of a story already written. The goal is to write a novel in a month. Adults have to write a 50,000 word story. People in the Young Writers Program, like me, and choose a slightly smaller word count goal. I chose 10,000 words. So now, I’m writing a story I don’t know what it’s called, and currently at 2,765 words, that’s about 5,000 words less than where I want to be.

Integrity
noun
1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.
2. the state of being whole and undivided
*the condition of being unified, unimpaired, or sound in construction
* internal consistency or lack of corruption in electronic data.
That’s what the dictionary says integrity is. I never really understood what that word means. It looks like having integrity is one of the best qualities a person can have.
Gabby The Human Cat
Having been raised by people, our family have come to the conclusion that Gabby thinks she’s a human. Our proof? Gabby just had her first bath and instead of being frisky and squirming around like cats do when they’re wet, she acted mature and just laid down in my dad’s hand while my mom washed her. She knows we soak in water because she waits in front of the bathroom while we take showers and we come out wet. If I sit down at the table to have a snack, I’ll sometimes see her sitting in another chair, staring off into space. I wonder how she’ll react when she finds out she’s a cat, not a person.
Ups and Downs Of A Pet Cat
Pros
1. They’re absolutely cute!!!!!! Especially when they fall asleep in your lap. :)
2. They don’t want to play 24 7, unlike dogs who want to play with you every second.
3. You don’t have to walk them.
4. They’re happy with simple toys such as a string of yarn.
Cons
1. Litter- you have to clean it out and it smells!!
2. Cat food has the terrible stench of fish.
3. They scratch and bite.
4. They wake you up in the middle of night to bite your fingers off and purr loudly so you can’t fall back asleep even though you have school in the morning.
